Blog Makeover

As you can see I have done a small makeover on our blog. I felt like it was time for a change.

Ok, it has been a while since I've posted and I'm sure most of you have lost hope of hearing from us again, but here's an update.

Brigham has now started first grade. He is loving eating lunch at school. He does very well.

Daniel is now pretty much fluent and his grammar gets better each day. His Russian is quickly slipping away from him. He can't wait to start preschool in a couple of weeks.

Kyler is also preparing to go to preschool. She is still her sweet, quiet self. She adds so much to our family. She loves to watch "Cinderella" and "Strawberry Shortcake."

Katya is really taking off in her speech. She has now had her tubes for almost 3 months. It is amazing what can happen now that she can hear. She continues with her Child developement Therapy to try to catch up to her age. Mostly she is behind in speech, but a little bit cognitively because of her lack of hearing for so long. She enjoys playing outside. She also does well in our church nursery.

We have enjoyed a few dates now that the kids are settled in and their attachment appears healthy. Joseph and I spent a night at the golf course. It was great to be alone together. After golfing we went to dinner. Nothing fancy, but a quiet meal where nobody needed our help. We are happy to be back to normal in this spectrum since it has taken about 5 months with the kids.
