This is a very hard post to make, but I guess it's time. I've put it off for a month now. Joseph had to make a hard decision to give Lexie away. She was consuming so much of his time in the evenings and she had to be tied up all day because I couldn't take care of her and the kids. She would always run around crazy in the house and the kids quickly became scared of her. We know she has found a family now and hopefully is living a happier life running around someone's backyard. We still miss her, but know this was the best thing for our family.

I'm sorry to hear the sad news. It will be one less thing for you to worry about though and now Dad will have more time with you guys instead of the dog. At least you tried. My kids can't quite talk us into even trying the dog thing.
um would you say that you are done trying out dogs:)
I am sorry, and I have done the same thing. We had 2 huge dogs and after I had Quinn I couldn't take care of them, I didn't like them being outside in the cold, but didn't want them around my baby. It is so hard to give them away, but I am sure she found a good home. You were good to try, I don't know if I could do it again.
That's sad --don't you wish your decisions were as hard as a 4 year olds --Life would be so much easier stressing about which barbie to play with. I'm sure it was heart breaking -but it sounds like the best decision for all
