We like to have Christmas Eve at home. I make a few treats like summer sausage (homemade), crackers, nachos and homemade pizza. We watch a Christmas movie and then act out the Nativity. We followed by singing a few Christmas carols then opening new PJ's. Brigham was BEGGING to go to bed and it was only 7:45, but hey when your 7 year old WANTS to go to bed you give him what he wants. So by 8:00 all of the kids were snuggled into their beds trying to go to sleep so that Santa could come.
Brigham and Daniel woke up at 6:45 and I told them we'd wake the girls at 7:00. We then all went down and ate grapefruit and cold cereal. Then back up to the bonus room to see what was delivered during the night. The kids were thrilled.
The girls got princess tents and Daniel got a transformer tent. The girls each got a Little pet shop building and sweatshirts. They each got a couple of other things. Daniel received a Hotwheels mega city, hotwheel cars, perfection game and a sweatshirt. Brigham was thrilled when he saw a Nintendo DS sitting in his area. He had been asking Santa for one for 2 years now and well Santa finally stepped it up a bit. He got a Super Mario game with it and a digimon game. He also got an atlas book that he loves and a sweatsuit. The family received Connect four, Horton Hears a who, Playdough set and an I spy computer game. All in all the kids were very happy and might I say quite entertained the last few days.
We had a delicious Christmas dinner at Grandma's house. I hope all of you have been as blessed as us this year.

This photo was taken the last week of November when the weather was 60 degrees, the grass was still green and the weeds were still growing.
