Tubeless

Katya's 2nd ear tube came out today. Another sign she is growing up. These 2 little tubes changed her entire life. Before tubes she heard very little and spoke 2 words at almost 2 years old. She also was very frustrated with life and very irratable most of the time. In addition she had suffered so many ear infections that her ENT says she has a ton a scarring. Poor little girl. Now she is a cheerful 4 year old that we can't get quiet. Although somes days I pray for peace from her constant chatter I am very grateful that she has the ability to communicate and hear.

This photo shows a lot of her personality. Just before the photo was taken she was sneaking up behind me and hitting me on the head and back with this stirophome arrow.

She is such a cutie! I had tubes twice when I was little and I know what a difference they can make. That's great that she's doing so well.

Oh, and Jodi's parents are living in Ohio.
