Some December highlights…
Joseph took and passed yet another CPCU test. 7/8 complete. The Florida trip is looking like a reality now. He will take his final test in March.
Joseph traveled to San Francisco and met up with a friend from his mission. Valentin (Volenteen) was in the states for business. They visited the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Warf and Alcatraz. They were also able to spend an afternoon at Joseph’s sister, Colleen’s house. Joseph and I were able to see him and his wife and son nearly 3 years ago when we were in Russia.
Brigham was a part of the 3rd grade Christmas program. They sang Christmas songs from around the world. They didn’t even shy away from singing about the Savior. It was a fabulous event complete with a potluck meal from around the world.

We went bowling

Daniel lost more teeth this month. It’s hard to keep track of how many, but he is sporting the cute 1st grade mouth.
Gammon is scooting everywhere and rocking back and forth on his knees. He got his first two teeth.
Christmas was a blast. We spent Christmas eve here at home with a movie, the Nativity and treats.
Christmas morning the kids were very happy with what Santa brought…
Gammon: Sights and sounds balls, books and a push animal.
Katya: Barbie style head, book and a plug and play (which doesn’t work).
Kyler: Roller skates, polly pockets, book.
Daniel: Tracing art set, “his very own Markers”, motorcycle racers
Brigham: DS Mario Party, nice basketball, books. He and Daniel shared a box of k’nex.
The whole family got a basketball standard to cement in the ground by the driveway. Santa sure continues to bless our family.

Gammon all twisted in Christmas lights and paper.

The day after Christmas we went into the mountains with cousins and went sledding. It was more like riding a louge down the mountain side. The kids had a blast and I had a lot of fun watching them. I did go down once, but ever since breaking my tailbone sledding I don’t have much desire to do it anymore.
Our trip to UT was fun. Unfortunately Gammon was sick the whole time.
