Today we received the news that the tumor was indeed cancer. However, there was no cancer throughout the rest of the kidney they removed. So we are in the clear and at this point CANCER FREE. He will have yearly scans for the next 5 years just to be sure the cancer hasn't spread anywhere else. There is a less than 3% chance that this will happen. We are obviously ecstatic about the news and have been at peace throughout this process due to prayers and fasting of those around us. Thank you for your love and support. Things are going well and he is home recouperating now.

Wow I haven't read your/an blog in a month so I had no idea what was going on. I'm so glad that everything seems to be going well now. Hope Joseph feels better quick.
Oh, Kamber, I can't imagine what you've been going through. What a blessing to have it contained in the kidney. I hope his recovery is speedy!
