Update

Joseph had his surgery yesterday and is doing well. The doctor ended up taking out the entire kidney, because after finding out from the pathologist that he's pretty sure it was cancerous, she couldn't bear to tell a 34 year old, "I think we got it all out." After consulting with me we decided he would want the kidney taken out. He is recovering well, although he is very sore. He will be coming home sometime tomorrow. I have spent most of my time at the hospital. Thankfully my parents have been here taking care of things on the home front. We thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. They have definitely been felt. We were at such peace yesterday.
