April Update

April was pretty cold and stormy. We are hoping for it to warm up soon. We spent many Saturday mornings freezing on the soccer field. Katya has loved playing soccer although I cannot say that for everyone else. This will be their last season. They are now trying to decide what they are going to try next.

This month Brigham read the 7th Harry Potter book in 3 ½ weeks. After completing the book he made a Harry Potter game for a book report. He did a great job on it and his teacher is going to laminate it. Thanks Bryant for getting Brigham hooked on the series. He’s been reading like mad since October. He now says he’s going to start over and read them again.

Gammon is adding words to his vocabulary daily. He loves to wear everybody else's shoes.


I went with Katya and Gammon to the zoo for a preschool fieldtrip. We also went to Joseph’s nieces farm. Gammon was very scared of the large animals.

Daniel earned his Bobcat award.

We had a nice Easter. The Easter Bunny brought way too many treats. I think she was worried about not having enough by the time she split it 5 ways so she overcompensated.

I made the girls these cute spring dresses. I should’ve taken a picture of the back because I shirred them.
