June/July Events

I know, I know I'm a bit late in posting.  Hodson has been quite the needy baby and I have been busy sun up to sun down trying to keep the household going.

We are enjoying our summer days and have kept busy with a few fun activities.  We enjoyed a few days of hosting my sister-in-law and her boys.
Here is Gammon helping what seems to be a sad Corbin.  Those two sure enjoyed each other.

While cousins were here we threw a b-day party for Brigham.  It was an Amazing Race them.  The teams had two legs to complete and did tasks throughout Star like; collecting for the food bank, singing happy b-day to Brigham at the local store (a very small grocery store with a chevron) and shooting baskets at the school.  I think they enjoyed it.  I know Brigham did as it was his "best b-day party every."

We took the family to Roaring Springs water park on Brigham's b-day.  Just a coincidence that that was the day we had open that week.  Luckily we went that day because the stomach flu hit us the rest of the week and the kids free passes would have expired.  We had a great day at the water park.

Joseph and I enjoyed an anniversary dinner at the "Star Backyard Grill."  Daniel made the menus, Katya was the hostess and Kyler was the waitress (Katya was supposed to be a waitress too, but was coming down with the flu so I wouldn't let her help with the food.)  She was still happy to help get the table ready and seat us and take our drink orders.  As you can see Hodson joined us on our date.

Katya's b-day (4th of July) started out with presents.  I made her a craft book with over 70 crafts, games and recipes I got online.  I then bought tons and tons of supplies to make most of the crafts.  She has been busy crafting ever since and even made our family orange dream pops for family home evening.
We went on a hike up in the mountains followed by a BBQ at grandma's then fireworks at our cousins house.

Katya's favorite show:  Tom and Jerry

Brigham's baseball season has wrapped up.  He has become a great catcher.  He shared the position with another boy which he was grateful for when it was 90 plus degrees outside.

 Our little boys.

Happy for a minute.

Daniel really enjoys his diving class.  He is our little fish.
