Busy, busy with end of school year celebrations.

We were so busy in May it flew right past us.  Katya finished up her season of softball and is sad that it is over until August.  Brigham had his end of year band concert which was great.  He is looking forward to next year when he'll participate in Pep band as well as the 8th grade honor band.

Kyler participated in the 4th grade chorus program.  She told me she had a special part, but I didn't know until I got there that she was one of the leads.  It was a mini play and she had many speaking parts.

Gammon had kindergarten round-up.  He got to spend some time with a kindergarten teacher in her classroom.  In addition we got to ride a school bus.  We just so happened to get on the bus that was our bus driver.  So we got to ride the kids bus route and drive past our house.  It was fun for Gammon and Hodson.

 Daniel graduated from the 5th grade.  The last day of school was on May 22.  The 5th graders did a walk of honor where they walked through the halls with parents and all the students lining the halls to give them high- five while they played some celebration music over the intercom.  It is a fun tradition that I look forward to in the future.  Although I had to hold back the emotions.  Why do things like that make me cry?

Our pool opened and we have enjoyed swimming every day.

Memorial day weekend was a quiet one around here.  We did some projects around the house and then spent some time on Monday at a pool party.

Yesterday Gammon had his first birthday party.  He was so excited to have his friends over.  It was a "Jake and the Neverland Pirate" party.  You can see by the pics that he and his friends had a fun time.

We  are looking forward to tomorrow as our travels to the west begin.  Hopefully we will se all of you this week.
